I can't believe I waded in 15 min or so to find out you acquiesce to this maga supporter so much and never boldly question his complicit acceptance of non stop lies and cruelty. I can guess you want to give space for opposing voices but what a waste of time. Might as well be doing a mythic masculine on cognitive dissonance or on how to help people get out of cults. Such outright oblivious lack of decency, character, dignity, and essentially support for greedy, hateful pedophiles, I think, should not be on your show. I would ask you what you think you accomplished with this speaker, and so..? I much preferred Stephen Jenkinson and Joshua Shrei and others on your show. Guess I will see where it goes, But I would double check next time...
Just disappointing, your support of a Trumpist. As long as women are objectified and abuse is normalized there will be no balanced masculine and feminine. I unsubscribe. 👎🏻
I totally liked David's openess and attitude. With the "wizard" archetyping of Trump and the honest questioning (to everyone basically) about "what triggers you about him?" he opened moments of a deeper spirituality in the whole talk.
Thats what I felt at least.
I'd love to hear how the whole talk felt for you after all and if there was truely something new and inspiring for you?!
I had the impression, after listening to about 10-12 of your talk in the past 10 month or so, that this time you were actually a little scared and startes from a retreated/inner "save space" position into the conversation... and that towards the end you relaxed and enjoyed David's wild and straight opinion/view on "the world".
I guess I ask, since that was the way I went into listening, after Trigger words like MAGA or Tate upfront.
Well, seems like he is riding his red dragon well and in good friendship with him.
And I guess the golden dragon is not tamed yet... as the "selfish wizard" Trump is not really a role model for the (golden) age of true peace and loving communities.
This much from me, with sunny greatz from germany,
Hi Markus - thanks for the feedback. As for this part...

Interesting take! I realize it might have felt different if I released the video of us speaking as well, as you would see more of my mannerisms and how I was navigating the conversation with more nuance. That said, the video was glitchy in a number of places so I opted not to release it.

So he votes for trump but lives in Mexico? 🤔 trying to understand…
He was in Mexico, but I believe he lives in Austin now. I don't think he ever gave up his US citizenship.
Dear Ian,
that was a great talk. Tx for sharing.

Appreciate your support and listening.
Tx you.
Looking forward to more of your mythic masculine insights/impulses.
